“Celebrate Shakti. Honor devotion. Awaken the divine feminine within.”
What is Teej?
Teej is a significant Hindu festival celebrated especially by women in Nepal, dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. It is traditionally observed through Puja, devotional singing, dancing and prayer. Beyond its cultural celebration, Teej represents devotion, feminine strength, inner discipline and the sacred bond of Shiva and Shakti.
Significance of Teej
Teej carries a deeper spiritual meaning through the story of Parvati's devotion and determination to unite with Shiva. For practitioners of Yoga and Tantra, the festival is understood as a celebration of Shakti—the divine feminine power, representing devotion, strength, transformation and spiritual aspiration.
