This festival will encompass the most consecrated sites throughout Nepal, while sharing the teachings from respected yoga masters of different lineages; providing a divine opportunity to share, learn and practice. It promises to be a truly unique event drawing together cultures, traditions and teachings from across the world. It is an opportunity to evolve spiritually by going deep into the essence of yoga in the land in which yoga itself is born.
What Is World Tantra Yoga Festival?
World Tantra Yoga Festival 12-Day Sacred Pilgrimage: March 5, 2027 to March 16, 2027. Join us for this once in a lifetime journey in the foothills of the Himalayas Experience the mysticism of Nepal; the land of Yoga, birthplace of Shiva and Buddha. You are welcome to join us for the first three days of Festival or for the entire Sacred Pilgrimage, including the festival.
Itinerary
- Day 1 (5th March): Arrival and accommodations
- Day 2 (6th March): Opening Ceremony and celebrating Shivaratri at Shanti Yoga Ashram
- Day 3 (7th March): Visit + sadhana in Bhaktapur
- Day 4 (8th March): Visit + sadhana in Pashupathinath
- Day 5 (9th March): Drive to Pokhara and temple visit
- Day 6 (10th March): Activities in Pokhara – Morning yoga at temple – visiting pagoda - Shiva statue
- Day 7 (11th March): Activity Pokhara
- Day 8 (12th March): Drive to Damauli, visit Ved Vyas cave, bath in Ganga.
- Day 9 (13th March): Morning yoga in Damauli, drive to Gorkha
- Day 10 (14th March): Morning yoga in Gorkha, drive to Chitwan
- Day 11 (15th March): Day in Chitwan / Devghat
- Day 12 (16th March): Return to Kathmandu and departure
