A Journey shaped by
service, teaching & Sadhana.
Rama is one of the founding members of Shanti Yoga Ashram
and has been deeply involved in its growth, teaching, administration,
and day-to-day life from its early years.
Her journey began with her studies at Bihar School of Yoga,
where she received a strong foundation in the yogic tradition.
After completing her studies, she returned to dedicate herself
to the vision and work of Shanti Yoga Ashram.
For many years, Rama played an important role in the management and teaching of the ashram, contributing quietly and consistently to the development of its programs and community.
Her years of service have been an expression of her understanding that yoga is not only a practice, but also a way of living through seva, discipline, responsibility, and compassion.
“Yoga is not only a practice. It is a
way of living through seva,
discipline, responsibility and
compassion.”
Quiet Dedication. Lasting Contribution.
For many years, Rama contributed to the management and teaching of Shanti Yoga Ashram, helping
shape its programs, community and day-to-day life.
Her dedication extended beyond the ashram through her close involvement with the Divine
Gurukul School project, which she cared for and managed for nearly ten years.
During this time, she was actively involved in both teaching and administration, giving her time,
energy and personal attention to the growth and wellbeing of the school and its students.
