Some journeys begin with a decision.
Hers began with birth..
Born into a traditional yogic family, Prakriti Dhungana grew up
where Sadhana was a way of life.
The fragrance of Homa, the vibration of mantra, daily rituals,
meditation and the discipline of ashram life were part of her
childhood. Her family remembers that one of the first sounds she
uttered was “Om.”
She did not discover the yogic path later in life. She was raised
within it.
For eight formative years, she studied at Divine Yoga Gurukul,
living and learning in an environment shaped by the founder of
Shanti Yoga Ashram.
There, yoga was not merely a classroom subject—it was practiced,
observed and lived every day.
“The path was not something she had
to find. It was the environment in
which she learned to see the world.”
From Yogic Childhood to the Study of
Tantra
Her journey then moved deeper. She spent another eight years pursuing Sanskrit, turning
toward ancient scriptures and gradually finding her deepest calling in Tantra. She chose
Tantra as her academic specialization, completed her Bachelor’s degree and is now pursuing
Master’s studies in Tantra.

Sharing the Teachings Beyond Nepal
Eight formative years of study and living within an environment shaped by the founder of Shanti Yoga
Ashram.
Teaching international students and conducting programs in Spain and Finland, bringing Nepal’s tantric
traditions into a global learning space.
Dedicated study of Sanskrit opened a deeper relationship with ancient texts, language and knowledge
traditions.
She chose Tantra as her academic specialization, completed her Bachelor’s degree and is now pursuing
Master’s studies in Tantra.

When the Body Becomes the Yantra
For her, dance is not simply movement.
The body becomes the Yantra.
The movement becomes the Mantra.
And the dance becomes Sadhana.
Through tantric and sacred dance, she explores how movement can become a pathway
toward deeper awareness and the experience of subtle energy.
A Multidimensional Practice
Tantra Teacher
Traditional Music
Yoga Instructor
Prakriti also shares her love of devotional music, teaching Harmonium, Kirtan, and traditional Bhajans. Through music, she encourages students to experience the power of sacred sound, devotion, and collective singing as a pathway to inner connection and spiritual joy.
Prakriti is a profound Hatha Yoga teacher and a dedicated practitioner of the traditional yogic path. Currently pursuing her Master’s in Tantra Yoga, she brings together the depth of classical Hatha Yoga, mindful practice, and tantric wisdom to guide students toward deeper awareness, strength, balance, and inner transformation.
Prakriti pursued Sanskrit deeply to access the classical tantric scriptures in their original language. This enables her to teach Tantra in both Sanskrit and English, interpreting and translating traditional tantric texts while making their profound teachings accessible to contemporary seekers.
Astrologer
Yantra & Mantra
Tantric Dancer
As a Astrologer she brings ancient Vedic wisdom into the realities of modern life,
helping people understand their path with greater clarity. Through the wisdom
of Vedic astrology, Prakriti offers deeper insight into life’s patterns and possibilities,
guiding people toward greater clarity, conscious choices, and meaningful transformation.
“She reads the stars not merely to predict life, but to help people transform
the way they live it.”
Prakriti teaches the sacred sciences of Yantra and Mantra, guiding students through the traditional geometry and symbolism of Yantras, their deeper significance, and the methods of meditation and contemplation associated with them. Through drawing, visualization, mantra, and focused awareness, she helps practitioners explore the sacred energy and inner experience represented within these ancient practices.
Prakriti has a deep understanding of Tantric Dance, a practice that is also her passion. Through sacred movement, rhythm, mudra, and awareness, she guides students to experience dance not merely as an art form, but as a pathway to connect with and embody divine energy.
The child who grew up with
mantra became the student who
studied Sanskrit.
The student who entered the world of Tantra became scholar. The scholar became a
teacher. And the teacher began carrying the ancient wisdom of Nepal beyond its borders.
Her path is not about collecting knowledge.
It is about living it.
To preserve the wisdom of the ancient tantric path, to experience it through
Sadhana, and to share its living essence with the world.
