What is Krishna Janmashtami?

Krishna Janmashtami is the sacred celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, an incarnation of Vishnu and a beloved figure in the Yogic and Bhakti traditions. Observed with devotion, Mantra chanting, Kirtan, Puja and meditation, the festival invites practitioners to reflect on Krishna's teachings of Dharma, devotion, wisdom and selfless action.

Significance of Krishna Janmashtami

Janmashtami represents the descent of divine consciousness into the world and reminds us of the eternal principles of Dharma and devotion. Krishna's teachings encourage us to act with awareness, surrender the fruits of action and remain established in inner balance.
